What does it truly mean to be a responsible citizen?
Is citizenship simply about voting, obeying the law, and paying taxes—or does it demand something more? What happens when young people move from being spectators to becoming active contributors to the communities and country they call home?
Tommorrow, the Resonance Nexus Initiative brings together Rover Scouts and young people for an interactive dialogue exploring how youth can turn the values of service, integrity, leadership, responsibility, and peacebuilding into everyday citizenship.

Together, we will explore:
🔹 What responsible citizenship means for young Kenyans today.
🔹 Why youth civic participation often peaks during elections—and what happens afterward.
🔹 The responsibilities young people have beyond casting a vote.
🔹 How Scouts can inspire active citizenship in schools, campuses, workplaces, and communities.
🔹 Practical ways young people can strengthen peace, national cohesion, and community wellbeing.
Most importantly, we will ask:
👉 What can we do TODAY to become the citizens our communities need?
Because responsible citizenship is not a once-every-five-years activity. It is a daily choice.
